NOTE: Hunter in Party Needed I figured out the BEST way to max out ALL weapon exp not just ranged like in all the other guides it is EXTREMELY EASY but requires that you have a hunter friend with you (any level hunter) Ok now you have your hunter go to the coast and Tame a crab (not sure if it works with other animals but it forsure works with crab) then you have him dismiss the pet, the pet will jsut sit there while you wail on it and ALL of your attacks will miss but unlike the other guides here that tell you about getting weapon exp by having attacks miss mine works for MELEE also which is awesome! I got my hunter maxed on every weapon within 15 minutes (the crabs dissapear after like 8 minutes so you have to tame them and dismiss again.

Here's a little strategy most overlook in the game. If you are a hunter or other profession with "ranged" attacks, which you typically call from your hotbar, their individual numbers will turn grey when the target is currently "in range", otherwise they will be red. This is extremely helpful for new hunters who are trying to figure out the maximum range for their characters!

This isnt very usefull, unless you play a mage.First of all take your mage (or other Char) to the "Arena of the Gurubashi" (?) Then you need a Tank like Warrior or other High Armor Class, and take it also to the Arena.
Now hit the Tank with the mages staff until the Warrior ist almost dead, then just polymorph him, and see how fast his HP restores. (Before you start hitting him give yourself a INT Buff ;p)

When he has restored enough HP Spam with your staff over and over, your weapon skill will raise quickly.
Maybe this works also with Zibbs Follow&Heal Bot so you can max your skills while being ask,somebody hast to test it.

Some items in the game are limited (ie. you can only buy a certain amount from the vendor, then you have to wait for them to respawn). I've only tested this on single limited items (vendor only has 1) but it's worked for me the last 4-5 times I've done it right, and I assume it would work for the multiple limited items if there's only 1 left.

Basically all you do to setup is talk to the vendor and open up your bags. Then you right-click the item you want to buy, then quickly drag the item to your backpack (both are acceptable ways to purchase an item). If you do it fast enough you will be able to get 2 of them even though the vendor says they only have a limited supply of 1. If you do it too slow it'll say "The item not found". It's also easier if you have large bags because then you don't have to drag the item as far to buy it right after you right-click it.

If you use the target nearest enemy key often and find it not selecting targets because they are too far away, go to the World of Warcraft/WTF/ directory and edit the config file.

The following is, in my experience, great tricks/tips to do with Alts in WoW. To get the optimal use of these tricks/tips it is best when first starting to play WoW but these also apply even to veteran WoW players.Create Alts right when you start the game. Pick a race/class combo for your Alt that would be a character that you would like to play sometime down the road. Optimally you want to make your character in a town where there is an Inn, Mailbox, and Auction House (AH) right next to each other. Keep your Alt in the Inn and logged off there.

1. Use your Alt(s) as an unlimited bank box for your main. The great thing about this is that there are more Mailbox's in the game then there are banks. It will take about 1-2 hours for the mail to get from your main character to your Alt(s) when you mail it. But what a lot of people don't know is that if you don't take the item or click on it in the mailbox then you can use the (Return) button from your Alts mailbox to send the item back to your main character INSTANTLY. There is NO delay in the mail when you use the (Return) button. The basically gives you an unlimited bank box with your main character.

2. Use your Alt for you primary crafting. This has a lot of Advantages and only one sight small disadvantage. In this example I will use a Rogue as a main character (But it can be applied to just about any main character and be efficient). On your Rogue you would take the gathering skills for the primary crafting skills you will have on your Alt. So we will put Alchemy and Leather working on our Alt character. That means we will take Herbalism and Skinning on our main Rogue character. The great thing about this is that there are always Mailbox's all over the place and you can take your gathered items and just constantly send them to your Alt
character, freeing up valuable pack space on your main. This Mail/Alt crafting combo works best if you make your Main and Alt at the same time. This way they can both gain their gathering/crafting at the same time. The best advantage to this whole Main/Alt crafting combo is that you will be getting TWO crafting skills for use with your main character instead of just one. The disadvantage to this is that once you hit a high enough level of skill in crafting on your Alt you will need to get your Alt to a certain LEVEL on the character itself to advance further in your craft. *But this goes hand in hand with the next Alt tip*

3. Always keep your Alt logged off in an INN because you supposedly gain 4x rest XP as opposed to the only 2x rest XP that you gain when just in a rested state and not in an Inn. You should always try to do the same with you Main character as well. In the rested state there is no cap to the amount of rested XP you can gain on a character. So you can get multiple levels worth of rested XP on a charcter. This rested XP comes in handy when you need to level that Alt

From a friend's account, I've done some more research into my "Gnasty Trick" exploit, it turns out Gnomes in a party are processed slightly faster for looting, and if you're on a Quest for a certain monster, and that corpse has YOUR Quest Item in it, you can loot it, regardless whose "turn" it REALLY is, and so far as I've seen, regardless of what the party's Loot Setting is. Obviously, don't pull this too often, unless you LIKE getting other players mad at you, and/or someone might turn this one in and get it fixed...Blizzard LIKES fixing things, even BEFORE they're broken!

Let's say you're grouped with some Humans, doing one of the Brotherhood of Defilas Quests, whether or not they're on the Quest. You kill one of the Bandits, and by luck, it has one of the Bandannas you're after! You can loot it, get the Bandanna, regardless of whose "turn" it's SUPPOSED to be...HOWEVER! While you have it open, if that corpse has money or Linen or WOOL on it, you can grab that too while you're at it! By some odd coincidence, it'll "sparkle" (Meaning lootable) on both yours AND whose ever turn it's "supposed" to be to loot! You CAN both loot it at the same time, at which point, it'll become a contest of reflexes (And connection-speed--I always lose that part) on who can click on what first to grab it!

The entrance is inside of Blackrock Depths.It's after you clear the Room of Seven or whatever the name of it is, and before you enter the Lyceum. You kill the 7 spirits in the Room of Seven and go through the door, instead of going straight into the Lyceum, take a right. You fight 2 sets of 3 of the Fireguard elementals, one set, cross a bridge, another set. In front of you you'll see a green glowing portal. That's Molton Core.

Note: This is a raid instance, and it's not single pull mobs but in chains of 2 or more.

How to get more storage space, per se, for free!

1) Post the item you wish to sell, on the AH for something like 10 gold, and set the auction time to "low".

2) When the item expires, unsold of course (or making you rich IF sold), it will go to your mailbox for 30 days.

3) Retrieve the item anytime in the next 30 days from any mailbox. (Good for herbs or ore/etc). Or, don't collect it and let it just sit there. The only thing this doesn't work for is Soulbound/Quest items.

Excellent Warlock Summon Trick

I saw this cool trick today while in Sunken Temple. There was a warlock in our group and he needed some stuff for his minions or whatever. Anyway he opened a portal and summoned himself but he did not accept the summon just yet. So then he hearthed to IF and got his stuff then he accepted the summon and he was back in our group. The only bad thing is you got 2 minutes, but if your fast you can do it. So technically is can work for anyone in the group. I thought this was nifty and I wanted to share it.

Extra Bind Point Recall

Hit the red question mark, go the "What GM's can assist with" and hit un-stick, it will warp you to your bind location. I think they limited the use of the un-stick command. There may be a timer on it now but at least you can get an extra recall out of it.

For all you wannabe cooks and blacksmiths out there, here's a little trick you may not know! In most towns/inns you'll come across those seemingly pointless bedrooms with the nice beds, large mounted pighead on the wall and cozy fire. Well guess what? That fire can be used as a forge or a fire to cook your food! So stop wasting money on wood and striking up your flint. Just head into an inn or random home and look for a fireplace. Cuts down on the costs of crafting by a decent amount! Saving 50 copper each crafting session may not seem like a ton of cash, but over time it certainly adds up!

The bug where you can shoot mobs that cant fight back where you dont get any range weapon skill is not fixed!! While I was down in Desolace today with my warrior and tried to pull a Satyr from the top of a ruin that was towards the western mountain range, I was surprise to see that I kept missing but my skills continued to rise. So if you wanna go max out a new range weapon, head on over to Desolace and cap it out. Didn't take me long to cap out my gun this way.

There's a cave in NE arathi highlands filled with kobolds and such. Also there is a quest from booty bay which involves mining lesser bloodstone ores from the mines. These things require 100 mining skill but they actually give you xp for mining them!. There is about 4-5 lesser bloodstone deposits in the cave and they re-spawn every 10 minutes i believe. I went in there at about 150 mining skill and mined till my skill was 175 so i could start getting mithril which sells for a great amount. Its probably possible to go even higher in mining from the lesser bloodstone ores. Then after i had all that bloodstone ore i went back to booty bay and sold the ore to lazy people or people who couldn't mine)for 30-50s each. Great way to make some cash and level up your mining without having to run around lookin for mines
